    Why Least-reached

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
    - Jesus' words in Matthew 28:19-20

Unshakeable Kingdom, Unshakeable Life

As our world shakes with hatred and division, conflict between communities and nations, we who follow Christ need to remember that we belong to God’s unshakeable Kingdom. We can live an unshakeable life.

“The Unshakeable Kingdom” (Hebrews 12:28-29) is the 2026 theme for Global Disciples’ Annual Equipping Events (AEEs). Training directors in a region gather for four days of Bible teaching, prayer, worship, and training to further equip disciple-makers and church planters. Some have faced a shaking world of armed conflict, terrorist threats, economic chaos, persecution, and more. The Spirit is filling them with hope and peace as they experience this teaching at AEEs, and it motivates them to persevere.

What is shaking in your life? To encourage your walk, here are some thoughts adapted from an AEE session.

  • Live by Faith, Not by Sight

Paul speaks powerfully to us today: “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Faith means we look beyond what we feel, see, or understand and anchor ourselves in God’s unchanging character. “I the LORD do not change,” (Malachi 3:6). And Jesus is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). While our emotions, circumstances, and news cycles shift daily—we are secure in the Lord. Faith believes God’s promises and sees His kingdom. Abraham believed God “was able to do what He had promised” (Romans 4:20–21), even when circumstances were stacked against him. Paul encourages us to fix our eyes “not on what is seen… but on what is unseen” (2 Corinthians 4:18). This vision keeps us calm in chaos. Faith leads to obedience. Noah built the ark before rain ever fell. Abraham trusted and obeyed, leaving his home without knowing the destination (Hebrews 11). We can act in faith in God and His character, trusting His timing and promises even if we don’t fully understand.

  • Stand Firm and Persevere in Faith

Unshakeable lives are built in perseverance, not in comfort. When circumstances overwhelm us, God’s Word calls us to stand firm: “Put on the full armor of God… and after you have done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:10–13). Standing firm is active, it means resisting fear, doubt, and spiritual attack. God gives us armor and equips us with truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and His Word. Hebrews 10:36 reminds us that perseverance—patient endurance—positions us to receive God’s promises. Trials don’t weaken true faith; they strengthen it.

  • Be a Beacon of Hope and Truth.

Those who stand firm bring light and hope like a beacon guiding others home. Jesus says his followers are that light (Matthew 5:14–16). As a beacon of hope, we can endure hardship confident in God’s faithfulness. Joseph held onto hope through betrayal and imprisonment. Even in chains, Paul encouraged churches and showed us how to live in hope no matter what. We also stand on God’s Word with courage and humility as a beacon of truth. Truth is challenged, but it never changes (John 14:6). Our world desperately needs us to model truth, holiness, and love.

Shaking is real, but you belong to an unshakeable Kingdom. Live by faith, standing firm no matter the quaking and shaking, and shine with hope so that others may see Christ in you.
