    Why Least-reached

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
    - Jesus' words in Matthew 28:19-20

Answering the Call

Thirty years ago, God birthed this ministry called Global Disciples. The vision was to train and empower near-culture workers to reach their nations with the Good News of Jesus Christ. It started at the request of local church leaders, seeking help to do what God had asked of them.

Today, we are still answering that call. The need—and the requests—have grown. The cry is “Help us, train us, to reach the people of our nations, especially the unreached who have never heard the Good News.”

It’s only possible with the power and presence of God, the faithful labor of our Global Disciples staff around the world, and the prayer-filled, generosity of friends and supporters who invest so much.

People like you. You make it possible for Global Disciples to focus on what we believe God has called us to do:  training disciple-makers who make disciples and plant new churches among the least-reached.

As we move into the next chapter, we have a vision to see:

  • 41,000 newly trained disciple-makers
  • 100,000 new believers added
  • 5,000 new churches planted

What will that take in terms of resources? Well, let’s break that down.

Disciple-makers are harvest workers. The workers Jesus called us to ask God for (Matthew 9:36-38). As Global Disciples, we make it possible for local fellowships to train and send out disciple-makers. In 2025, we partnered with local churches to train and send out 31,541 new disciple-makers.

The cost: $250 trains one disciple-maker.

Disciple-makers make new disciples. They share the Good News that God sent His Son to die for the sins of every person. As Global Disciples, we believe that every person has the right to hear about Jesus, to choose to believe in Him, and follow Him. Last year, that led to 76,239 people coming to faith.

The investment: $102 reaches one new believer.

New believers need healthy churches to grow. And disciple-makers gather new followers of Jesus into new churches to nurture them to spiritual maturity and to make more disciples. New churches can produce eternal fruit year after year after year. Last year, near-culture disciple-makers planted 4,246 new churches.

The commitment: $2,000 plants a new church.

Now, what will you do to help that vision become reality?

Your generous support is deeply appreciated and signals your partnership in reaching people through Global Disciples. Gifts of any size are deeply appreciated. Right now, a gift of $2,000 will be matched when made by June 30, 2026. Or consider giving monthly through THE REACH—it’s easy on your budget and big on impact!

However you choose to invest, you are part of answering the call that Global Disciples seeks to answer today and into the coming years. Thank you.

Investing in Harvest Workers

We have two problems to solve. The first is that the spiritual harvest is so vast. The second is that there are not enough workers to reap the harvest. But Jesus always has an answer to any problem we face.
