Do you have an up-to-date will?

If you don’t, you’re not alone–about 70% of people don’t have one.

Here are five (somewhat silly) reasons to put off making your will:

  1. You love letting the government decide how to use your money. The state will gladly distribute your assets just the way you want.
  2. You want your long-lost Aunt Gertrude to inherit it all. Surprise! You didn’t even know you had an Aunt Gertrude.
  3. You want your youngest child to forever be known as “unnamed future children.” Your parting gift: an identity crisis.
  4. You like family conflict. Surely your loved ones will sort it all out—and still speak to each other in the end.
  5. You prefer that none of your estate gets used to do good. You won’t be around to see it, so why does it matter?

All joking aside, there are three God-honoring reasons to create or update your will:

  1. You want to care for your family. Having your affairs in order saves them heartache and hassle.
  2. You want to share what really matters. That’s a legacy you want to hand off to the next generation.
  3. You want your will to support the causes you’re passionate about. A gift in your will to Global Disciples will sustain our work for years to come.

Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Now’s the time to move your will from “to do” to “done!”

Groundbreaking Prayer

The director led a smaller team to walk and pray and prepare the way for Jesus in one of the villages that was without a church or even a small fellowship of believers.

How Can We Reach Them?

We believe one of the most effective ways to reach least-reached people is by working with and through the global Body of Christ.

Jesus Loves Me

"Does God really exist? And if He does, does He really love me? Because I have never known anyone who loves me.”

What Is a Disciple?

A disciple is someone who is with Jesus and learning to be like Him. “Disciple” is a status.
